Just when we thought it was safe to start thinking about our garden I woke up to six inches of new snow , six inches on top of the nearly five left from winter. I don’t mind it to much since I’m not in that big of a hurry for the snow to go just yet. I still have to get in another fifty or so house logs for our new cabin, not to mention a couple more cords of firewood to get us through next winter. We are up to almost sixteen hours of day light so hopefully this new stuff will cover the old dirty snow a bit longer and put the brakes to spring a few extra days.

wow… that puts a damper on the garden… hopefully you have things growing inside.
We ended with almost two feet. Actually we just get our starts going inside about now the dump was more psychological. We typically don’t put things in the garden until late May.
